Woman treated for head injuries after Chatham assault

A 30-year-old woman has been treated for head injuries after she was attacked in an alleyway in Chatham.

Kent Police have appealed for witnesses following the assault, which is believed to have taken place between 22:00 and 23:30 GMT on Saturday.

The attack happened in an alleyway running between Upper Luton Road and Constitution Road.

Det Insp Lee Whitehead said Kent Police were "confident" it was an isolated incident.
