Woman injured in Canterbury car crash dies in hospital

A woman in her 70s has died in hospital nearly two weeks after she was injured in a crash in Kent.

The woman was a passenger in a Nissan Note that collided with a bicycle and then hit a tree in Hales Drive, Canterbury, on 25 January.

Two men in the car and the female cyclist were treated for minor injuries and shock at the scene.

Kent Police said the woman in 70s died in hospital on Monday. The force has appealed for witnesses.
