Man severely injured in Kent cliff fall

A man has been airlifted to hospital with severe injuries after falling 16.5m (50ft) from a cliff in Kent.

On Friday afternoon the man fell to the shore at Langdon Hole, near Dover, from an exposed part of a walkway.

The man was rescued by Dover Coastguard which was already in the area attending another man with a twisted ankle.

The coastguard said the incidents were not linked. The severely injured man was flown to Kings College Hospital in London.
