Thieves steal bikes worth £38,000 from Gravesend bike shop

A stash of mountain bikes worth more than £38,000 have been stolen in a raid on a Kent shop.

Kent Police said a gang broke into the Bike Shop in Windmill Street, Gravesend, at about 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.

Officers said 32 expensive bikes were stolen during the burglary.

Appealing for witnesses, Det Con Richard Debnam said: "This was a significant burglary with a number of high value goods taken."
