Kent crews tackle commercial units fire in Marden

Fire crews have tackled a large fire at commercial units in Marden.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze in Staplehurst Road at 12:30 GMT. It was brought under control within three hours.

A spokesperson said the fire had swept through "a range of buildings used as commercial premises". Six fire engines were sent to the scene.

Residents in the area were advised to keep their windows and doors closed as a precaution.
