Man arrested after 'life threatening' Kemsley car crash

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a car crash in Sittingbourne in Kent which left another man seriously injured.

Kent Police said the passenger, a 24-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries when the Fiat Coupe crashed in Swale Way, Kemsley, on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old driver, from Maidstone, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The force has asked for any witnesses to contact them.
