Derelict Margate pub destroyed in fire

A derelict pub in Margate has been destroyed by a fire which ripped through the building.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said emergency services were called to the blaze at the Dane Valley Arms in Valley Road at 00:35 BST.

It took about 30 firefighters until 02:45 BST to extinguish the blaze. There were no reports of injuries.

An investigation is under way into the cause of fire.
