Man, 19, critically injured in Gillingham attack
A man has been badly injured in an attack on a street in north Kent.
Kent Police said the 19-year-old was seriously injured during an assault in Richmond Road, Gillingham, at about 20:50 BST on Monday.
He is in a critical but stable condition in hospital. A second man suffered minor injuries.
Detectives said a 25-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and have appealed for information.
"There may have been motorists or pedestrians in the area at the time of the incident who could have important information which could help with the investigation," said Det Con Sunita Dale.
