Armed police respond to Kent cash van robbery

Armed police were called to a petrol station in Kent following reports of a robbery from a van delivering cash.

Police arrived at the petrol station in Cuxton Road, Rochester, just after 11:50 BST.

Witnesses reported two men, wearing balaclavas with dark tracksuit bottoms and hooded tops leaving the area.

No shots were fired and no-one was injured, officers said. The petrol station remains sealed off and a police helicopter has been called to assist.
