Westerham man held over death of woman at house released
A man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released after the death of a woman in Kent is no longer being treated as suspicious or unexplained.
Police were alerted on Wednesday after a 36-year-old woman was found dead at the house in Market Way, Westerham.
A 38-year-old man from Market Way, was questioned on suspicion of murder but later released following the results of a post-mortem tests.
Kent Police said the death was not now thought to be the result of "foul play"
A spokesman said: "Following a post mortem, Kent Police is no longer treating the death of a 36-year-old woman in Market Way, Westerham, as unexplained or suspicious.
"The man arrested has been released without charge."
The results of the post-mortem examination have not yet been officially released.
