Hernhill lorry theft sees £100K computer haul stolen

Computer equipment worth nearly £100,000 has been stolen from a lorry while it was parked near Faversham.

Kent Police said the HGV was parked in a road in Hernhill on Tuesday when 320 computer tablets were stolen.

Det Sgt Paul Fewtrell said the white Archos 10.1 XS tablets were each worth £300.

He urged anyone who saw the theft off Plum Pudding Lane, or who had been offered one of the computers to contact the force.
