Three arrested over Tunbridge Wells club disturbance

Three men have been arrested - one for assaulting a police officer - following a disturbance outside a club in Kent.

Police were called to the Pitcher and Piano, in Church Road, Tunbridge Wells, just after midnight on Saturday.

A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries following the incident, but was later discharged. The police officer received a minor injury.

The three men, who are all from Kent, are being questioned on suspicion of assault and violent disorder.

A fourth man arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly was issued with a penalty notice and a fine, and released from custody.
