Kent graduate's 'honoured' to design Jubilee brooch
A Kent graduate has said she was "deeply honoured" to design a brooch worn by the Queen on Christmas Day.
Ivonna Poplanska, who graduated from University for the Creative Arts in Rochester in 2009, won a competition to create a piece for the Diamond Jubilee.
The Eternal Dove, a platinum and gold brooch with 320 diamonds, was presented to the Queen in December.
Latvian Ms Poplanska, 27, said the dove design "symbolised the spirituality of the monarchy".
She said: "It also shows that she really likes it, which is very flattering and means so much to me."
