A woman has been threatened by armed burglars who stole jewellery from her Kent home.

Three masked men broke into the property near Edenbridge in Kent, at about 02:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The victim was ordered out of her bedroom at gunpoint while they stole valuables which included men's watches.

Kent Police are trying to identify a man caught on CCTV at the premises, who is described as white, about 6ft 3in tall, with a thin face.

Officers believe he could be local to the Tonbridge area.

They said the suspects, one of them armed with a black handgun, left the house on foot, across adjacent farmland, before making off in a vehicle.

Police patrols responding to the incident followed a dark-coloured 4x4 at speed from the area into Tonbridge where one man left the vehicle.

A man in his 20s was arrested nearby in the early hours of the morning.

The vehicle was found abandoned in Lansdowne Road, Tonbridge.

Two other men were arrested on Tuesday afternoon. All three have been bailed pending further investigations.
