Hadlow College offers free fishing to Kent young and disadvantaged

Young people and members of disadvantaged communities in Kent are being offered the chance to fish for free.

The Environment Agency, working in partnership with Hadlow College, is offering free fishing days at the agricultural college's Grove Farm project.

Approved organisations will be able to book the fishery for their members.

Grove Farm has agreed to provide fishing tackle for the scheme.

Fishery manager Brian Bailey said the college was committed to enabling locals to take part in angling, "while affording opportunity to improve fisheries management knowledge within the South East".
