Folkestone stabbing: Police arrest 24-year-old

A 24-year-old man is being questioned by Kent Police over the stabbing of a 20-year-old man in Folkestone.

Police say the suspect, who is from the area, was held on Sunday night by members of the public in Rendezvous Street until police arrived.

The victim, from Leicestershire, who was stabbed in the leg, is said to be in a stable condition at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

The man was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
