Folkestone stabbing: Police charge 24-year-old

A man has been charged with stabbing another man in the leg during an incident in Folkestone, Kent.

The 24-year-old local man is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in Rendezvous Street on Sunday.

He is expected to appear at Canterbury Magistrates' Court later.

The 20-year-old victim, from Loughborough, Leicestershire, is in a stable condition at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
