Kent company aims to learn from its German owners

21 June 2013 Last updated at 20:03 BST

A Kent company is aiming to follow the business model set by its German owners.

The success of the post-war German economy is largely based on smaller companies known as "Mittelstand" which are often family run firms with a long-term strategy.

These companies make up over half of the country's economic output and employ more than 60% of employees.

Now Kent firm ADL, based in Marden, is looking to follow the same principles.
