Bearsted woman forced into home by masked burglars
A gang of masked burglars forced a woman into her home in Kent before searching it and fleeing with cash and jewellery, police said.
The victim, who lives in The Morlings, in Bearsted, said four or five men wearing masks or balaclavas targeted her, at about 23:15 GMT on Saturday.
She was not injured, but was left extremely shaken, officers said.
Two men, aged 23 and 30, were arrested earlier in the Maidstone area in connection with the robbery.
Det Con Andrew Felton, of Kent Police, said the woman had reported seeing a group of men loitering in The Landway on the day of the burglary, at about 17:00 GMT.
He urged anyone with information about them to contact the force.
Some property believed to have been linked to the robbery has since been found near the junction of Warmlake Road and Norton Road, in Chart Sutton.
