Traffic disruption is expected in a Kent town as a half marathon race takes place on Sunday.

The Tunbridge Wells half marathon will see road closures in the town, Southborough, Bidborough, Penshurst, Fordcombe and Langton Green.

Traffic passing through Tunbridge Wells on the A26 will be diverted through the town centre.

The quickest of the approximately 2,800 runners is expected to finish the 13.1-mile (21.1km) course in about an hour.

Roads in the area will be closed at various times between 09:00 and 11:30 GMT, the organisers said.
