Man charged over Teynham motorcycle crash death

A 75-year-old man has been charged over the death of a 44-year-old motorcyclist in a crash involving a lorry in Kent.

Jeremy James Nicholson, of Teynham, was killed when his Honda and a Scania HGV collided on the A2 in Teynham on 8 September.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, Kent Police said.

Thomas Brooks of Christchurch Way, Dover, has been charged with causing death by careless driving.

He has been released on bail and is due to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court on 21 May.
