Further arrests after man injured at Kent caravan park

Four more people have been arrested in connection with an incident involving a suspected firearm at a caravan park.

A man in his 20s remains in hospital following a disturbance at the Snowdown caravan site near Aylesham, Kent, where a vehicle was damaged by fire.

Police were called to the scene at 01:30 BST on Saturday and a woman aged 45 was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

Three men aged 42, 23 and 21 and a boy of 15 were arrested on Sunday morning.

They are being questioned on suspicion of assault.

As part of their inquiries, officers carried out searches in the Priest Avenue area of Canterbury on Saturday afternoon, seizing a vehicle.

The woman was later released on bail until 23 June.

The condition of the injured man is not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
