A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body at the scene of a vehicle fire in Dartford.

Kent Police said it was treating the death of the woman, who police believe to be from the local area, as an isolated, targeted attack.

A spokesman said the offender and the victim, who has been named locally as Donna Eastwood, knew each other.

He said there was no indication members of the public were in danger.
