Worker tied up during Cuxton Post Office armed robbery

A Post Office worker was tied up and threatened with a gun during a robbery in Kent.

The armed robbery took place at the Post Office in Bush Road, Cuxton, on Saturday at 08:10 GMT.

Two men entered the store and threatened the staff member with a gun and demanded money. The worker was then tied up, receiving minor injuries.

Kent Police said they left with a "large quantity of cash" and have issued an e-fit of one of the men.

Both suspects are described as white, about 25 to 30 years old and of medium build.

Both were wearing dark clothing and one of the men wore a black woollen hat.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
