Jason Wilkes' bid to drop daughter death charges rejected

A father accused of killing his teenage daughter after supplying her with the drug MDMA has had his application for the charges to be dismissed rejected.

Jason Wilkes is charged with the manslaughter of 17-year-old Chloe Wilkes, who died after falling ill at home in Tunbridge Way, Ashford, Kent, on 27 July.

Mr Wilkes, 44, is also charged with supplying a class A drug.

He faces a trial at Maidstone Crown Court from 19 January.
