Patrick Lamb: Inquest reveals cause of death as drowning

A man whose body was found in the River Medway four weeks after he disappeared after a night out in Maidstone drowned, an inquest into his death has heard.

Patrick Lamb, 28, from Greenhithe, was last seen in the early hours of 13 December after leaving Bar Chocolate.

His body was discovered in the river at Cuxton Marina on 10 January.

The inquest heard how CCTV had shown Mr Lamb to appear heavily intoxicated. A post-mortem examination recorded the cause of death to be immersion.

The inquest at Archbishop's Palace, in Maidstone, was adjourned until 1 April.
