Van driver killed in Kent motorway crash

A van driver has been killed in a crash with an articulated lorry on the M26 in Kent.

He was driving a grey VW Caddy when it crashed with a lorry on the London-bound carriageway between junction 2A and 1 at about 15:30 GMT on Monday.

The 30-year-old man from Buckinghamshire died at the scene, a Kent Police spokesman said.

The carriageway was closed until 22:00. Any witnesses are asked to contact police.
