Teenage boys charged with killing sheep in Crawley

Two 17-year-old boys have been accused of killing a sheep by stabbing then setting fire to it in Crawley.

The pair were charged with arson and causing unnecessary suffering to an animal following the attack at Tilgate Park Nature Centre in October.

The centre is home to over 100 different species, ranging from endangered to farmyard animals.

The boys have been released on bail to appear at Crawley Youth Court on 10 February.
