Robbers sought after raid at Tunbridge Wells jewellers

Robbers who used sledgehammers and bats to smash their way into a jewellers in Kent are being sought by police.

Goldsmith's in High Street, Tunbridge Wells, was targeted just after 11:00 GMT by three men wearing dark motorbike clothes and helmets.

The gang fled the scene on motorbikes after smashing the shop's front window. It is not known if anything was stolen.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have filmed the incident on their mobile phones to contact them.
