Dover armed siege ends with arrest of gun suspect
A man has been arrested after a five-hour siege at an office building in Kent.
Armed officers and police negotiators were called to a solicitors' firm in Dover at 16:05 BST on Tuesday.
Police said they "quickly established all other people had evacuated the building" in Gordon Road in Whitfield and a man was alone inside.
A 42-year-old man from Dover was held on suspicion of possessing a firearm. Police said he was later bailed.
Police said they were treating the incident as "isolated".
Nearby roads later reopened and police thanked the public "for their support".
