A man killed in a crash in west Lancashire will be missed "more than words can say", his family has said.

John Gregory, 49, from Wigan, died in the collision involving three cars on Grimshaw Road, Skelmersdale, on Friday. The other two drivers were unhurt.

Mr Gregory, who was pronounced dead at the scene, had been driving a silver Chrysler which overturned.

A 22-year-old man, of Skelmersdale, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later bailed.

Mr Gregory had two children and three step-children.

In a statement, his family said: "We love you and miss you more than words can say.

"You were our life. A hole has been made that will never heal. Love you forever."
