A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a car in Lancashire was a "loving son", his parents said.

Nathan Lynch was one of two bikers involved in the crash with a Ford Mondeo on Belmont Road at Abbey Village on Monday evening.

The 22-year-old, from Bolton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men inside the Mondeo, aged 32 and 45, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.

In a statement, Mr Lynch's father and mother - Simon Doyle and Deirdre Lynch - said: "Nathan was a loving son, grandson, boyfriend, soul mate, nephew, cousin, genuine friend and workmate to all who ever came across his path."

The other injured biker, a 44-year-old man, was treated in hospital for serious injuries.
