Burnley pair convicted over flat murders
Two men have been convicted of murder after two men were battered to death in a flat in Lancashire.
The bodies of James Atkinson and Neil Gilmore, both 55, were found in Waddington Avenue, Burnley, in October.
Daniel Waddington, 23, of Pine Street in Burnley, was found guilty of murdering both men.
Kenneth Howson, 25, of Williams Road in Burnley, was convicted of Mr Gilmore's murder. Jurors could not reach a verdict in relation to Mr Atkinson.
Howson will face a retrial over the murder of Mr Atkinson next month.
