Woman arrested over fatal crash in Heskin

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash near Chorley.

A man died in hospital after the Ford Ka he was driving collided with a Ford Transit minibus in Wood Lane, Heskin, at about 2130 BST on 21 April.

A passenger in the minibus was cut free from the vehicle by firefighters and taken to hospital for treatment.

Lancashire Police said a 47-year-old woman from Croston was arrested and released on bail until 14 July.
