Cannabis factory equipment given to Lancashire hospice

Equipment seized in a police raid on a cannabis factory has been given to the East Lancashire Hospice.

Police donated dehumidifiers and heaters to the charity after finding 600 cannabis plants during a raid at a house on Bolton Road, Blackburn.

The items will now be sold in the charity's five shops with all proceeds going directly to the hospice.

"I am delighted that we could offer it to this worthwhile cause," said Sgt Paul Schofield.
