Two cannabis factories uncovered in Nelson

Cannabis factories containing drugs worth more than £400,000 have been found at two houses in Nelson.

Lancashire Police found 47 plants in a raid in Rhoda Street on Tuesday afternoon. A further 990 plants were found at an address on Walton Lane.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

Police said it was part of a crackdown on drugs in Nelson and urged anyone with information to contact the force.
