Man charged with Declan Eastwood murder in Haslingden

A man has been charged with murder after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Lancashire.

Police were called to a house on Princess Street, Haslingden, early on Saturday morning where they found Declan Eastwood with serious injuries.

The teenager was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.

Sean Fell, 24, has been remanded in custody to appear at Burnley Magistrates Court on Monday 8 August.

A post mortem revealed that Mr Eastwood died as a result of multiple stab wounds.

Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
