Man remanded over Declan Eastwood murder in Haslingden

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 17-year-old boy in Lancashire.

Declan Eastwood was found seriously injured in Princess Street, Haslingden, early on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital but died soon afterwards. Post-mortem tests found he died of multiple stab wounds.

Sean Fell, 24, of George Street, Haslingden, was remanded in custody at Pennine Magistrates Court, to appear at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday.

Lancashire police has appealed to anyone with information to contact the force.
