Motorbike passenger dies in Out Rawcliffe crash

A teenager has died after the motorbike on which she was a passenger collided with a car in Lancashire.

Lydia Taylor-Harrison died after the Honda bike crashed with a Nissan Micra on Rawcliffe Road, Out Rawcliffe, on Tuesday afternoon.

The 21-year-old male motorcyclist is critically ill at Blackpool Victoria Hospital following the crash at about 15:30 BST.

The occupants of the car, who were in their 50s, were treated for shock.

Lydia's mother, Lisa Taylor said: "Lydia was a very independent young lady.

"She was a good friend to many and was very loyal and caring. She was my angel and will be missed so much."
