Family tribute to Anchorsholme crash victim

The family of a 23-year-old man who died three months after being in a car crash in Lancashire have paid tribute to him.

Nathan Weston's family said they were "devastated at the loss of a son, brother and best friend" and described him as a "gentle and warm person".

He was one of seven people who were travelling in a MG ZR when it crashed into a lamppost in Anchorsholme.

His funeral is due to take place on 16 September at Lytham Crematorium.

Roseanne Cooper, 21, died at the scene of the crash on Fleetwood Road on 7 June and Nathan Weston, who suffered a punctured lung in the accident, died on 6 September.

The driver, from Pilling, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing death by dangerous driving.

He is on police bail pending further inquiries.
