Cyclist killed in Baguley lorry crash named

A 26-year-old cyclist who died when he was hit by a lorry in south Manchester has been identified by police.

Colm Jainauth Apollo Glackin, from London, died following the crash at the junction of Hollyhedge Road and Southmoor Road, Baguley on 17 November.

He was unconscious and trapped beneath the vehicle when emergency services arrived and died at the scene.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care and attention.

He has been taken into police custody for questioning.
