Man dies after 'dispute' with teenager in Blackburn

A man from Lancashire has died following a dispute with a teenager, police have said.

Zeeshan Khan, 18, of Dartford Close, Blackburn, sustained a head injury during the dispute with a 16-year-boy on North Road at about 16:45 GMT on 5 March.

He died in hospital on Monday and a post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death.

The boy has been interviewed by police in relation to the incident.

Det Insp Mark Winstanley, of Blackburn Police, said: "This appears to have been a tragic incident involving two people which has sadly led to the death of Mr Khan.

"I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen what happened to get in touch with us so that we can establish exactly what has happened."
