No charges over death dispute Blackburn teenager

A 16-year-old boy questioned over the death of a Lancashire man following a dispute will face no further action, police have said.

Zeeshan Khan sustained a head injury during the row on North Road, Blackburn, on 5 March.

Mr Khan, 18, of Dartford Close, died in hospital in the early hours of Monday.

Police said the decision over his death followed a "robust investigation" by detectives in collaboration with the Crown Prosecution Service and coroner.

Det Insp Mark Winstanley, of Blackburn Police, said: "This appears to have been a tragic incident involving two people which sadly led to the death of Mr Khan.

"Following discussions with the Crown Prosecution Service a decision has been made not to take any further action against the 16-year-old involved."
