Tributes to L/Cpl Michael Foley

People from East Lancashire have been paying tribute to a soldier who was killed in Afghanistan on Monday.

L/Cpl Corporal Michael Foley, who was born in Burnley, was 25 and married with three sons.

He was serving with the Adjutant General's Corps and was killed by an Afghan soldier while guarding the main gate at Lashkar Gah.

His former head teacher said he was always "quick to look after anybody if he felt somebody wasn't being treated fairly".
