Mini moto rider killed in lamppost crash in Preston

A 22-year-old mini moto rider has died after crashing into a lamppost in Lancashire, police have said.

Collin Mayor, from Ingol, Preston, collided with the kerb and a lamppost, as he rode along Pope Lane on to Miller Road, near Farringdon Lane, Preston.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, involving a bike which is a quarter of the size of a motorbike, at around 13:10 BST on Tuesday.

Mr Mayor died the next day in the Royal Preston Hospital.
