'Racist' graffiti sprayed on cars and walls in Blackburn

Several vehicles and homes in Blackburn have been daubed with racist graffiti, police have said.

About 14 cars, three walls, a sign and a lamppost were sprayed with red paint. Police believe it happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers said some of the words written were "of a racist nature".

The vandalised areas included Park Avenue, East Park Road and Montague Street. Police are studying CCTV and conducting house to house inquiries.
