Sex abuse case teacher case heard at Preston Crown Court
The case of a former teacher accused of historical child sex offences has been heard at Preston Crown Court.
John Mead, 75, of Timbrills Avenue, Sabden, is charged with four counts of indecent assault involving three boys under the age of 14 in the 1970s.
He is alleged to have committed the offences when he taught at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Blackburn.
Mr Mead, who was not in court for the hearing, is on bail and is due to appear at the court on 7 February.
