Man killed and two hurt in Wesham car crash

A man died when the car he was in went down an embankment and crashed into a tree in Lancashire.

Police said a 28-year-old Latvian man who lived in Wesham was killed when a Lexus left Station Road, Wesham and hit a tree on Wednesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 31-year-old man from Wesham has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
