Euxton cyclist death: Driver arrested

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a cyclist died in Lancashire.

A car collided with one of two cyclists who were riding on Runshaw Lane, Euxton, at 09:10 BST on Sunday, Lancashire Police said.

A 35-year-old man from Whittle-le-Woods died at the scene. The other cyclist was not injured.

A 36-year-old man from Ormskirk, was arrested and has been bailed until July, police said.
