Morecambe: Man had 'large part' of his right ear bitten off in attack
A man has had a "large part" of his right ear bitten off during an attack in Morecambe, Lancashire Police said.
Following the assault, which happened on Westgate, the 25-year-old was taken to Royal Preston Hospital, where he received "numerous" stitches.
He also suffered cuts to his eye from a sharp implement, police said.
Detectives are appealing for anybody who witnessed the incident, which happened between Friday night and early Saturday morning, to contact them.
